9. Can NGOs or non-profits apply to the Chen Zhi Climate Action Challenge?⌄
No. The Chen Zhi Climate Action Challenge is exclusively open to youth teams composed of Cambodian individuals aged 18 to 30. The program is designed to empower young people—particularly university students and youth groups—to lead the development and implementation of innovative climate solutions.
While we greatly appreciate the contributions of NGOs and non-profits to Cambodia’s environmental efforts, this challenge specifically does not accept applications from registered organizations, including NGOs, as it aims to create direct opportunities for youth leadership and capacity-building.
That said, NGOs and non-profit organizations are encouraged to support the program in other ways, such as serving as mentors, resource persons, or post-program collaborators with youth teams.
